1997 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER AMAZON GX HDJ80 FOR SALE 4.2 turbo diesel 24 valve manual

Our beautiful Land cruiser 80 series AMAZON is up for sale, being a 1997 model it is one of the last 80 series Landcruiser "AMAZON".

It has the smooth 1HD-FT 24V 4200 cc straight 6 turbo charged diesel engine mated to the 5 speed manual transmission - 30 mpg is very easy to achieve. It is the rare GX spec which in my opinion is the best as it has 8 velour cloth seats (no unsightly cracked leather to worry about) both front seats are heated, factory fitted air conditioning, electric mirrors, windows and aerial (all working), bodywork is dent free and looks great, very good Hankook tyres, new brake pads/discs on the rear, MOT till November 2010 and road taxed till the end of the year.

The current mileage is 99500 - yes 99500 miles (since owning it for 14 months I have only driven 1500 miles in it - so decided to sell it due to lack of use), I do not have any service history but the condition of the interior shows no signs of wear, I have seen a lot of Landcruisers over the years and I honestly believe this is true genuine mileage but I have no paperwork to prove this except MOT records for the last 4 years.

The bad point on this vehicle are, it was subject to insurance cat D repair (minor repair/repaint to drivers rear quarter panel), some idiot has keyed "lucky" in the rear passenger door, rear shockers are worn, electric sunroof does not open.

I know exactly how hard it is to find a decent clean Landcruiser - when you see this vehicle I am sure you will agree that it is possibly the best HDJ80 manual for sale anywhere in the UK. The price is £8500 - I am not desperate to sell the vehicle so I will not entertain any silly offers on this last of the legendary 80 series.
